Front-end Software Engineer
TripAdvisorResponsibilities
- Build user interfaces for tour and activity businesses worldwide.
- Develop frontend features and write production code daily.
- Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to take features from idea to production.
- Refactor and modernize legacy UI areas while reducing technical debt.
- Contribute to frontend architecture and help shape the platform’s future direction.
Requirements
- Proficiency in TypeScript and React.
- At least 4 years of experience.
- Strong care for user experience and visual polish.
- Comfort communicating in English, the team’s working language.
- Preferred experience with modern CSS approaches, especially Tailwind CSS.
- Preferred familiarity with Next.js or React Native.
- Preferred comfort working with REST APIs and across the stack.
- Background in travel, e-commerce, or marketplace platforms is a plus.
