Responsibilities
- Design, build, and scale an AI-powered platform that provides validated, source-traceable answers to security questions for sales teams and customers.
- Build retrieval, content pipeline orchestration, integration layers, and multi-cloud support for Stripe’s evolving products and infrastructure.
- Automate content refresh, review routing, subject-matter-expert validation, and Legal approval workflows.
- Develop capabilities for managing security certifications and assessment frameworks, including Shared Assessments SIG and Cloud Security Alliance CAIQ.
- Build analytics and evaluation systems to measure and improve content quality, coverage, and platform performance.
- Extend the platform and knowledge base to Stripe’s public and authenticated Trust Center.
- Partner with Security, Privacy, Legal, Compliance, security analysts, and sales teams, while owning the reliability and operational health of the platform.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of software engineering experience building production systems.
- Strong coding skills in any programming language; the interview process is language agnostic.
- Experience with or ability to quickly learn retrieval-augmented architectures, content pipelines, and AI/LLM integrations.
- Experience building workflow automation with scheduled jobs, approval routing, and multi-stakeholder review processes.
- Ability to instrument systems and use data to measure quality, coverage, and performance.
- Experience creating projects from scratch, taking ownership, and completing work with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with non-engineering stakeholders.
- Preferred experience building AI-driven products, RAG systems, knowledge management platforms, or AI evaluation frameworks.
- Preferred familiarity with AWS and/or Azure cloud security concepts, security software engineering, compliance tooling, or GRC platforms.
- Preferred familiarity with SIG, CAIQ, SOC 2, PCI DSS, or ISO 27001.
- Preferred experience with content management systems, structured content modeling, documentation-as-code, or customer-facing self-service tools at scale.
