Base Salary
$110k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Support and develop software implementations for production optical thin-film coating equipment.
- Develop software interfaces between process equipment and production databases.
- Collaborate with Thin Film Engineering and in-house customers to define and implement software requirements.
- Participate in software design and implementation peer reviews.
- Follow a formal software development lifecycle to deliver documented, robust, and maintainable solutions.
- Create documentation for software engineers, production technicians, and other engineering users.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field.
- At least 5 years of professional programming experience in C#.
- Ability to work with internal customers to develop design specifications and deliver software applications supporting new products and operations.
- Preferred experience with manufacturing software, WPF, ADO.NET, Entity Framework, WCF, MS SQL, T-SQL, MVC, JavaScript, Web API, Git/GitHub, Visual Studio, and VS Code.
- Preferred knowledge of C# interfaces, multithreading, asynchronous programming, MVVM, Windows Services, real-time machine control, RS232/RS488 protocols, C++, Python, device firmware, SCADA, vacuum systems, and user/design documentation.
