Base Salary
$105k - $128k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, maintain, debug, and enhance weapon-planning software throughout the end-to-end lifecycle.
- Translate customer requirements into initial software designs with support from the Product Owner.
- Develop and integrate software products and modular components using standardized interfaces.
- Document and maintain software architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, designs, and test plans.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and improve software reliability, efficiency, and development processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience.
- At least 5 years of software development experience using technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, React, C#, and/or C++.
- Experience developing and using REST-style APIs, performing unit and integration testing, and conducting system-level validation.
- Experience with Agile software development, project tracking tools, version control, and configuration management.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Clearance and meet U.S. citizenship-based U.S. export-control requirements.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Preferred qualifications include a relevant Bachelor of Science degree with 5+ years of related experience, a bachelor’s degree with 9+ years of directly related experience, or 13+ years of relevant experience.
- Preferred experience includes defense, aerospace, mission-critical, OMS, open-architecture, modular software, secure coding, software architecture, design patterns, and .NET MAUI.
