Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, deliver, and operate secure, reliable, and scalable customer-facing and internal software solutions.
- Build highly available, large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed applications and services.
- Maintain high standards through quality implementation, code reviews, design reviews, and documentation reviews.
- Participate in the team’s on-call rotation and directly engage with customers and stakeholders to resolve tickets and issues.
- Understand system architecture, service behavior, customer usage patterns, and workflows.
- Collaborate across team boundaries, drive improvements to team efficiency, and deliver projects.
- Mentor and serve as a role model for junior engineers.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship design or architecture experience involving design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 1 year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- At least 1 year of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- At least 1 year of object-oriented design experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
