Responsibilities
- Build intuitive user interfaces and robust backend services and APIs across the full stack.
- Participate in the full product lifecycle from ideation and design through development, deployment, monitoring, and iteration.
- Build and maintain scalable systems supporting Veo’s platform and user base.
- Contribute to technical discussions, architecture decisions, and data modeling.
- Maintain performance, reliability, and maintainability of owned systems.
- Collaborate with AI and platform teams to integrate insights and video-driven features.
- Support engineering culture through collaboration, code reviews, and shared product ownership.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, ideally in a product-led environment.
- Experience building and operating full-stack applications.
- Proficiency with backend technologies such as Python, Django, or PGSQL and frontend technologies such as TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
- Experience designing clean, maintainable systems and making sound architectural trade-offs.
- Ability to contribute across the stack and collaborate with Product and Design on user-facing features.
- Thoughtful approach to testing, CI/CD, and maintaining production-quality systems.
- Curiosity about modern AI tools and new technologies and ways of working.
- Interest in sports, video technologies, or data-driven insights is preferred.
