Responsibilities

  • Conduct simulation studies and evaluations using actual hardware.
  • Study algorithms, including minor modifications and parameter optimization.
  • Modularize algorithms into software components using the development environment.
  • Develop new 3D measurement functions, including new algorithm investigations.
  • Investigate measurement-system elements, including algorithms, to improve 3D measurement performance.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders and pursue root causes of technical problems.

Requirements

  • University-level education or above.
  • Native-level Japanese proficiency.
  • English proficiency of at least TOEIC 500.
  • At least two years of experience studying and implementing algorithms.
  • At least one year of experience developing computer-vision software using OpenCV or similar tools.
  • Preferred: at least two years of software development experience including numerical computation programs.
  • Preferred: experience using at least two of C, C++, C#, and Python.
  • Preferred: basic knowledge of optical theory, including reflection, refraction, and interference.
  • Preferred: basic image-processing knowledge.
  • Preferred: experience investigating algorithms for 3D reconstruction such as SLAM or for 3D point-cloud processing.
  • Preferred: performance evaluation experience for 2D or 3D measurement.
  • Preferred: English communication skills equivalent to TOEIC 650 or above.
