Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements and coordinate with business analysts and subject matter experts.
- Identify test conditions and create test cases, test data, test plans, and end-to-end test scenarios.
- Participate in peer reviews of test cases and test plans.
- Execute functional and regression tests according to test plans.
- Document test results, report defects, evaluate outcomes, and retest issues through closure.
- Validate release notes and submit daily status reports.
- Identify, report, and escalate risks while coordinating onshore and offshore activities.
- Complete assigned technical, domain, and learning courses within defined time frames.
Requirements
- BE or BSc degree or equivalent experience.
- Certification or formal training in software testing and related fields.
- 0.6 to 3 years of experience in functional testing.
- Experience working with TFS or similar tools.
- Experience with MS SQL Server, Oracle, and writing SQL queries.
- Knowledge of quality assurance policies, procedures, and software development lifecycle principles.
- Ability to create end-to-end test scenarios and functional and regression test plans.
- Strong software troubleshooting and problem-analysis skills.
- Effective oral and written communication, organization, teamwork, and risk-escalation skills.
- Healthcare background and knowledge of automation tools are a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft software applications and willingness to learn new systems.
