Responsibilities
- Drive significant technology initiatives end-to-end across multiple architectural layers.
- Architect and develop scalable applications and systems.
- Design and implement secure, maintainable software solutions that integrate with numerous systems.
- Provide application, platform, and developer-tool recommendations and best practices.
- Identify opportunities to enhance applications with AI technology and launch AI integrations in production.
- Evaluate and monitor AI technology performance and user satisfaction using appropriate metrics.
- Collaborate with global cross-functional teams and communicate with employees, customers, management, and executives.
- Coach and mentor junior engineers on software engineering practices, AI integration, and technical development.
Requirements
- BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of experience delivering enterprise-class applications.
- Experience writing scalable application code with accessibility, internationalization, and instrumentation considerations.
- Experience with cross-browser, cross-platform, web, and mobile design constraints.
- Strong knowledge of algorithms, design patterns, relational database design, SQL, NoSQL, and analytics.
- Proficiency with mid-tier languages such as Java.
- Experience with test automation, including unit, integration, and functional testing.
- Interest in building CI/CD pipelines and practical experience with microservices, containers, and container management systems such as Kubernetes or Mesos.
- Experience with utility or cloud computing and deploying applications and services into cloud environments.
- Experience building or integrating functional AI models using LLM prompting or AutoML modeling techniques.
- Ability to evaluate and optimize AI performance in production and lead AI integration while coaching junior engineers.
- Ability to collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and software engineers.
