Responsibilities
- Own the technical vision and architecture for scalable, high-performance, cost-efficient systems.
- Architect and optimize multi-tenant SaaS platforms, self-service capabilities, and high-scale transactional systems.
- Design distributed data processing pipelines for batch and real-time workloads and improve storage, retrieval, and processing efficiency.
- Lead cloud cost optimization across infrastructure, model execution, and compute resources.
- Guide engineering teams on microservices, event-driven architecture, cloud-native patterns, and pragmatic execution through prototypes and proof-of-concepts.
- Champion secure GenAI, LLM, and agentic workflow adoption across the software development lifecycle.
- Lead the Architecture Review Council and establish architectural standards, governance, and cross-team alignment.
- Make complex architectural trade-offs, address technical debt, and mentor engineering leadership.
Requirements
- 12+ years of hands-on experience in system architecture, data engineering, cloud engineering, or technical leadership roles.
- Experience designing multi-tenant architectures and configurable SaaS platforms.
- Deep hands-on AWS expertise, including EKS, IAM, Lambda, and networking; GCP experience is strongly preferred.
- Strong experience with distributed systems, microservices, event-driven architectures, caching strategies, and high-scale transactional systems.
- Hands-on knowledge of AI/ML model execution, inference performance, cost trade-offs, and optimization.
- Experience with infrastructure automation, Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform.
- Expert-level Java skills, strong Python skills, and familiarity with JavaScript, TypeScript, and Kotlin.
- Experience leading architectural review processes and establishing engineering standards.
- Experience integrating GenAI and ML methodologies into software development workflows.
- Ability to manage strategic stakeholders and perform complex financial and total-cost-of-ownership analysis.
- Experience with high-volume real-time data processing, distributed streaming architectures, or petabyte-scale data platforms is preferred.
- Familiarity with fraud prevention, identity verification, or authentication technologies is preferred.
