Base Salary
$128k - $187k/yr
Responsibilities
- Translate business needs into functional and non-functional technical requirements with stakeholders, product management, and software engineering teams.
- Develop end-to-end software solution designs and document current-state and target-state architectures.
- Identify cross-team dependencies, technical risks, and architectural impacts across software domains.
- Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards, security requirements, scalability objectives, and engineering practices.
- Lead requirements analysis and use case definition and produce interface control, ConOps, and test-plan documentation.
- Provide technical direction to software engineering teams implementing complex capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- At least 5 years of experience in systems engineering, software engineering, solution engineering, or software architecture.
- Experience leading requirements analysis and use case definition and producing interface control documentation, ConOps documentation, and test plans.
- Experience translating business requirements into detailed technical requirements for Agile software development teams.
- Experience developing software system designs and architecture documentation.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, system integration, APIs, and modern software development practices.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and technical documentation skills.
- Preferred: experience with cloud-native architectures, microservices, distributed systems, DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Jira, Confluence, or similar tools.
- Preferred: INCOSE, SAFe, AWS, Azure, GCP, or other relevant technical certifications.
- Must be a U.S. Person as defined by the posting's export-control eligibility requirements.
