Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, operate, and maintain embedded software, firmware, and computing systems software.
- Support requirements, design, coding, testing, integration, and maintenance across the full software development lifecycle.
- Develop embedded software running on Linux or VxWorks real-time operating systems.
- Apply software architecture, design patterns, object-oriented design, development processes, and engineering tools.
- Test, debug, and integrate embedded software on target hardware.
- Interface with customers, suppliers, application users, and technical and support personnel.
- Support mission-critical products within the Multidomain Sensing, Targeting, and Survivability division.
Requirements
- Principal level: bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related STEM field and 5+ years of relevant engineering experience, or a master’s degree and 3+ years, or a PhD and 1+ year.
- Senior Principal level: bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related STEM field and 8+ years of engineering experience, or a master’s degree and 6+ years, or a PhD and 4+ years.
- Experience with object-oriented programming in C/C++ and scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Batch.
- Experience developing embedded software for Linux or VxWorks real-time operating systems.
- Familiarity with software architecture, design patterns, object-oriented design, CI/CD pipeline development, version control systems, Agile software planning tools, and modeling tools.
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a minimum Secret clearance with additional customer-specified clearance before starting.
- Preferred qualifications include active Secret clearance, embedded software testing and integration on target hardware, CI/CD pipeline development, and demonstrated leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.
