Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver maintainable software features across the full lifecycle, including architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Build scalable security communications workflows, automation, integrations, and stakeholder notification systems.
- Own and operate production services with alarms, telemetry, runbooks, and on-call response.
- Identify and resolve systemic causes of operational issues and improve team processes, automation, and tooling.
- Collaborate with security engineers, program managers, communications leads, AWS service owners, executives, and partner teams.
- Mentor engineers, provide code review feedback, train new team members, and maintain technical documentation.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 1 year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- At least 1 year of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed applications, tools, systems, or services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- At least 1 year of object-oriented design experience.
- Preferred qualifications include 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred qualifications include a bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent, architecture and design experience, knowledge of machine learning and LLM fundamentals, and familiarity with incident response, vulnerability management, security operations, or coordinated disclosure.
