Base Salary
$87k - $198k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build, enhance, and maintain Java-based applications, services, and integration components.
- Translate functional requirements into modular, well-structured code and software designs.
- Develop, test, validate, and document RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Support DevOps workflows, CI/CD pipelines, version control, and automated testing.
- Learn and apply development or configuration skills across Salesforce, Tableau, Informatica, and MuleSoft.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams through backlog refinement, technical discussions, Agile ceremonies, and peer reviews.
- Troubleshoot application-layer issues and ensure solutions meet security, performance, and reliability expectations.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience developing software with Java in an enterprise environment.
- Experience building REST APIs, microservices, or distributed application components.
- Experience committing code and metadata to Git repositories and working with SQL or NoSQL data stores.
- Experience with workflows, web parts, site maintenance, APIs, cloud platforms, and software interfaces between products from different vendors.
- Experience creating and testing modules and components for compliance with design specifications.
- Ability to learn platforms and technologies such as Salesforce, Tableau, MuleSoft, and Informatica.
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph is required.
- Bachelor’s degree or 8+ years of software development experience in lieu of the degree.
- Preferred experience includes Python, C#, C, C++, .NET, JavaScript, React, Angular, Node.js, PHP, Bash, Visual Basic, Groovy, Lua, Salesforce, Tableau, MuleSoft, Informatica, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft products, Microsoft Windows Server, or Microsoft SQL Server.
- Preferred knowledge includes shell scripting, automation, DevOps, continuous integration, continuous deployment, relational and hierarchical data structures, and functional programming.
