Base Salary
$172k - $207k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the technical baseline, roadmaps, reference architectures, and architecture decisions.
- Chair design and change control activities.
- Lead AI/ML solution patterns involving MLOps, model lifecycle management, evaluation, risk management, and enterprise integration.
- Author and review technical artifacts, including DoDAF-aligned artifacts where applicable.
- Define performance and reliability targets and compliance controls.
- Drive legacy code modernization, cloud migration, API and AI/ML integrations, IV&V, deployments, proof-of-concepts, and technical assessments.
- Mentor senior engineers and coordinate increment goals with the Release Train Engineer and Program Manager.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI security clearance with CI Polygraph.
- 10+ years of technical leadership experience, such as Chief Engineer, Chief Architect, or equivalent.
- Deep expertise in software architecture and enterprise integration.
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML platforms, data pipelines, cloud environments, containerization, and security patterns.
- Advanced degree in computer science, electrical engineering, data, or a related field preferred.
