Base Salary
$169k - $192k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-performance, real-time visualization applications for medical use.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of software applications, embedded technology, and algorithms for a robotic platform.
- Develop and maintain robust software infrastructure and testing frameworks, including unit, integration, and automated tests.
- Optimize software for low latency, high reliability, and scalability in a regulated environment.
- Collaborate with software, clinical, systems, and UX partners to deliver product solutions.
- Translate user needs, clinical requirements, and customer feedback into software design and development priorities.
- Maintain documentation covering software architecture, coding standards, and development processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of five years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Strong background in object-oriented programming, software architecture, and design patterns.
- Experience with C++ programming and multithreaded applications.
- Experience developing desktop user interfaces with technologies such as Qt/QML, PyQt, OpenGL, Unity, GTK, WPF, or similar.
- Experience with additional programming languages such as Python or Rust.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
