Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and lead the implementation of advanced AI and machine learning solutions for production environments.
- Define and evolve MLOps platforms and pipelines covering model training, validation, versioning, deployment, monitoring, and governance.
- Industrialize data science prototypes and notebooks into high-performance production services.
- Design APIs, microservices, batch-processing services, and event-oriented architectures for integrating AI and LLM solutions with enterprise applications.
- Implement software engineering practices including automated testing, code review, technical documentation, observability, and modular design.
- Design and implement CI/CD processes for AI applications and models.
- Define model monitoring strategies covering performance metrics, drift detection, data quality, explainability, and alerting.
- Integrate AI solutions with data platforms, cloud architectures, and enterprise ecosystems while maintaining security, performance, and resilience.
- Define reference architectures, technical standards, development patterns, and best practices for production AI solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and contribute to technology decisions and AI platform evolution.
- Collaborate with business, engineering, architecture, operations, data science, and other multidisciplinary teams.
Requirements
- More than 5 years of experience designing, developing, and industrializing AI, machine learning, or generative AI solutions in enterprise environments.
- Strong software engineering experience covering design principles, architecture, automated testing, code review, documentation, and development best practices.
- Advanced proficiency in Python and AI/ML ecosystems, including PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, Hugging Face Transformers, and generative AI libraries.
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing MLOps platforms and pipelines for the full model and AI application lifecycle.
- Advanced knowledge of Git and continuous integration and deployment processes.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for application containerization and orchestration.
- Experience developing and deploying AI services through REST APIs, microservices, batch processing, and event-oriented architectures.
- Experience with cloud architectures on Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform and their native AI, data, and deployment services.
- Experience integrating AI solutions with data platforms, distributed architectures, and enterprise ecosystems.
- Ability to lead technical decisions, mentor engineers, collaborate across disciplines, and communicate complex solutions to varied audiences.
- Generative AI experience involving LLM applications, RAG, intelligent agents, and orchestration with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or Semantic Kernel is especially valued.
- Experience with AI and MLOps platforms such as Azure AI Foundry, Azure Machine Learning, MLflow, Kubeflow, Vertex AI, or Amazon SageMaker is valued.
- Knowledge of monitoring, observability, and AI application evaluation, including performance metrics, model drift, traceability, Prometheus, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry, is valued.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code and cloud environment automation using Terraform, Bicep, ARM, CloudFormation, or similar tools is valued.
- Knowledge of modern data architectures, distributed processing, and tools such as Spark or Databricks is valued.
- Knowledge of AI governance, security, privacy, responsible AI, and regulatory compliance is valued.
- Relevant cloud or AI certifications, such as Microsoft Azure AI Engineer, Azure AI Foundry, AWS Machine Learning Specialty, or Google Professional Machine Learning Engineer, are valued.
