Base Salary
$120k - $175k/yr
Responsibilities
- Review business requirements to build, enhance, and support testing frameworks.
- Design and develop comprehensive automated test strategies and test cases.
- Automate test cases using existing frameworks and tools.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand requirements, provide technical solutions, and support user testing.
- Support the software delivery process, auditing, production environments, and after-hours operations as necessary.
- Plan, execute, and track tests and defects while debugging and troubleshooting issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or an equivalent academic discipline.
- 5+ years of relevant quality engineering experience involving application development, deployment, and testing.
- Experience with Java and Python.
- Experience with Maven, Jenkins, GitHub, GitHub Actions, Artifactory, JUnit, and TestNG.
- Experience with Kubernetes and container-based application environments.
- Experience testing and supporting web- and cloud-based applications and production and CERT environments.
- Preferred: 4+ years of experience with RDBMS or NoSQL databases, including Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
- Preferred: 3+ years of experience with Linux and Windows.
- Knowledge of software development and quality assurance best practices, strong debugging skills, and the ability to learn new QA tools and methodologies quickly.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
