Base Salary
$174k - $252k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with manufacturing partners and engineering teams to structure data content and data pipelines.
- Architect, design, develop, test, and maintain database software applications on Google Cloud Platform.
- Create and architect managed databases on Google Cloud Platform.
- Design and develop software applications for ETL pipelines.
- Document user requirements, designs, coding, and testing according to software development standards and best practices.
- Partner with cross-functional teams, leadership, engineers, program managers, and data scientists to understand business and application needs.
- Own the strategy, scope, and technical outcomes of database solutions and use Terraform to automate critical infrastructure.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Five years of experience creating and managing managed databases on Google Cloud Platform, including Cloud SQL, AlloyDB, Cloud Spanner, and Cloud Bigtable.
- Five years of experience developing ETL software solutions using C, C++, software frameworks, and Python.
- Five years of experience developing automation using Terraform.
- Five years of experience developing analytical reports and dashboards.
- Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field is preferred.
- Five years of experience architecting and developing database solutions for component suppliers and subassembly houses is preferred.
- Three years of experience using AI/ML methods, specifically Gemini, is preferred.
- Three years of experience using Docker containers is preferred.
- Three years of experience with semiconductor software systems is preferred.
- Familiarity with component suppliers, subassembly houses, and OEM/ODM data integration is advantageous.
