Base Salary
$175k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Implement and scale the core economic engine for Waymo’s ride-hailing commercial services.
- Develop infrastructure to automatically train and deploy optimization and prediction machine-learning models for real-time pricing, matching, and positioning decisions.
- Support feature engineering, training workflows, inference services, marketplace simulation, and unified experimentation platforms.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 4 years of experience programming in backend languages such as Java or C++.
- Experience building backend platforms that support multiple product use cases or services.
- Machine-learning engineering experience in Python using mature frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
