Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software primarily using Java.
- Build new features and enhance existing capabilities within Experian’s decisioning platforms.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Engineers, Architects, and other stakeholders.
- Contribute to the full software development lifecycle from design through deployment and support.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code and participate in code reviews.
- Investigate and resolve production issues when required.
- Support continuous improvement across engineering practices, tooling, and processes.
Requirements
- Experience programming with Java.
- Understanding of object-oriented design principles and software engineering best practices.
- Experience with source control systems such as Git.
- Experience working within Agile development teams.
- Understanding of automated testing and quality engineering practices.
- Desirable: experience developing APIs and backend services.
- Desirable: knowledge of cloud technologies and modern application architectures.
- Desirable: familiarity with CI/CD tooling and DevOps practices.
- Desirable: experience with relational databases and enterprise-scale applications.
