Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, maintain, and support ServiceNow applications, modules, App Engine scoped applications, and Portal solutions.
- Gather and analyze user requirements and translate them into technical specifications and functional software designs.
- Develop front-end functionality using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, script fields, and Visual Studio Code.
- Implement and maintain SOAP and REST API integrations with third-party and core systems.
- Contribute to scalable, efficient, and secure solution designs and support CI/CD adoption and deployment practices.
- Test applications for functionality, performance, and security, and resolve discrepancies and technical issues.
- Provide troubleshooting, maintenance, documentation, user instructions, and ongoing support for applications and databases.
- Prepare time and cost estimates and assist with schedules for software development, maintenance, and modification work.
- Review software and test results, track industry developments, and collaborate with cross-functional IT teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field or equivalent training and experience, with at least two years of relevant experience.
- At least two years of ServiceNow development experience, including App Engine scoped applications, Portal development, and ServiceNow system integration.
- At least two years of experience developing process improvements in complex application environments.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, web technologies, REST/SOAP web services, and integration patterns.
- Understanding of ServiceNow architecture and components including Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and Flow Designer.
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools, software testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and technical design.
- Proficiency in SQL Server and Oracle relational databases.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation, collaboration, and task-prioritization skills.
- Ability to support multiple software applications or database platforms and work independently or with IT teams, departments, consultants, and leadership.
- Experience with Agile project methodologies is preferred.
- ServiceNow Administrator, ServiceNow Developer, or ITIL certification is preferred.
- Knowledge of threat intelligence concepts is advantageous.
- Must be a US citizen, possess a valid driver’s license, pass a pre-placement physical examination and drug screen, and be able to obtain an HSPD-12 Personal Identity Verification credential.

- Work schedule is 4/10s, Monday through Thursday, subject to change.
- The role may require work beyond 40 hours per week or occasional off-shift work for critical operational demands.
- Pre-placement physical examination and drug screening are required, with possible random drug testing.
