Responsibilities
- Develop and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts for edge software applications.
- Execute manual, automated, regression, and performance tests to identify defects and ensure product quality.
- Lead verification and validation strategy, test execution, acceptance, and quality communication across the software platform.
- Analyze test results, identify defect root causes, and collaborate with development teams on resolution.
- Maintain test documentation and participate in code reviews to improve software quality and testability.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and design testing strategies.
- Ensure compliance with software testing standards and continuously improve testing processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related engineering or technical field.
- Minimum of 3 years of software testing experience focused on edge computing or related technologies.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes, including performance testing.
- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, independent-working, and detail-oriented skills.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Preferred: software testing certification such as ISTQB.
- Preferred: experience with Energy Power Monitoring Systems, Building Management Systems, Schneider Electric solutions, industrial or energy-management applications, automation testing frameworks, and test management tools.
- Preferred: knowledge of Modbus, BACnet, OPC UA, or MQTT communication protocols.
