Responsibilities
- Build, deploy, and optimize machine-learning models and algorithms using cloud-based compute environments.
- Develop Python or PySpark scripts to manage data workflows.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends and patterns.
- Use data-visualization techniques to present complex information.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
- Complete training, learning, and skills-development activities.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled full time in a degree-seeking master’s program in computer science or a related field.
- Available to work full time, 40 hours per week.
- Experience with Python software development and machine-learning libraries such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Experience with cloud environments and data platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Azure Databricks, and Google Cloud Platform.
- Fundamentals in statistical modeling and machine-learning frameworks and tools.
- Preferred: experience with geospatial data and analytics.
- Preferred: intent to return to the degree program after the internship.
- Preferred: graduation between December 2027 and June 2028.
