Responsibilities
- Investigate potential problems in various systems.
- Develop software requirements and contribute to architecture and design baselines.
- Develop, recommend, and implement software solutions.
- Manage software changes and releases.
- Manage technical risks and opportunities.
- Collaborate with systems engineering, formal test, management, team leadership, internal stakeholders, and external stakeholders.
- Create software test plans and execute tests.
- Follow relevant software standards and contribute across the complete project lifecycle from bid through operational delivery.
Requirements
- Experience delivering real-time and/or safety-related software.
- Knowledge of software development languages such as TAL, C, and C++.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python and TACL.
- Experience with systems engineering, software development, integration, and testing.
- Knowledge of configuration management in a software engineering environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to provide clear technical direction.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills through email, presentations, and reports.
- Ability to build effective working relationships and strong time-management and organizational skills.
- Willingness to undergo SC or DV clearance depending on role requirements.
