Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance MES software applications based on business requirements.
- Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and well-structured code.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software bugs, performance issues, system errors, and production-impacting incidents.
- Participate in unit, integration, system, and user acceptance testing activities.
- Provide technical support and timely issue resolution for internal IT teams, MES users, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Prepare and update technical documentation, including design documents, user guides, and release notes.
- Support MES operations in a 24x7 manufacturing environment, including occasional after-hours or weekend assistance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement, integrate, and support MES solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as VB.Net, JavaScript, C#, or similar languages.
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and/or experience with backend development frameworks.
- Familiarity with SQL Server or Oracle and the ability to perform basic queries, updates, and data analysis.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while contributing effectively to a team.
- Preferred: manufacturing experience, Camstar knowledge, familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and exposure to APIs and RESTful services.
