Base Salary
$245k - $307k/yr
Responsibilities
- Deliver ML models and software components that solve complex business problems.
- Lead the creation, evolution, and optimization of large-scale production ML systems.
- Design and optimize data pipelines for training and evaluating ML models.
- Deploy and operate machine learning solutions and production cloud services.
- Use distributed computing, cloud architectures, and Kubernetes to scale containerized ML software.
- Lead large-scale ML initiatives and communicate technical concepts to varied audiences.
- Evangelize best practices across engineering and modeling lifecycles.
- Recruit, mentor, nurture, and retain engineering talent.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field.
- At least 8 years of programming experience with Python, Java, Go, or C++.
- At least 6 years of machine learning experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow and libraries including Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn.
- At least 6 years of experience using and operating large-scale distributed systems such as Spark and Ray for AI or ML data preparation.
- At least 5 years of experience deploying and operating production ML solutions and cloud production services using AWS, GCP, Azure, and Kubernetes.
- Preferred: master's or doctoral degree in a related field.
- Preferred: experience architecting resilient, large-scale ML systems, optimizing ML algorithms and infrastructure, and designing production-ready ML data pipelines.
- Preferred: experience with supervised, semi-supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning; regression, classification, and clustering; RNNs, CNNs, LSTMs, and Transformers; and model evaluation and diagnostics.
- Preferred: experience developing high-performing ML engineers and contributing through conference presentations, papers, blog posts, open source contributions, or patents.
