Responsibilities
- Design, program, and test firmware for embedded systems, especially motor-drive applications.
- Design and develop Visual Studio-based HMI software.
- Design and develop software applications that interface different systems.
- Execute debugging, testing, and software qualification during development and on installed systems.
- Produce project and product documentation for software applications.
- Manage requirements and project documentation throughout the product lifecycle.
- Support Project Leaders from product design through maintenance at customer sites and interface with internal departments and customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Automation Engineering, Information Engineering, or an equivalent technical field.
- Experience developing for microcontrollers, preferably STM32, or developing Visual Studio applications.
- Good knowledge of industrial and embedded software architectures, including PLC-based and non-PLC systems.
- Good knowledge of industrial automation, industrial networking and communication protocols, and software integration.
- Good written and spoken Italian and English.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain National/NATO Security Clearance.
