Responsibilities
- Design software architecture and deliver high-complexity development tasks.
- Lead and mentor development teams while establishing software engineering best practices.
- Design, code, debug, maintain, and improve software applications and codebases.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, troubleshooting, peer reviews, and defect resolution.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, customers, product managers, designers, and engineers to define requirements and ship features.
- Write and maintain technical documentation, including program logic, testing, changes, and corrections.
- Research technologies and tools to improve software efficiency and performance.
- Participate in project planning, estimate timeframes and resources, and manage tasks and deadlines.
- Implement software security, data protection, and compliance measures.
- Drive continuous improvement, professional development, and development-related organizational change.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, a quantitative field, or an engineering field, or significant relevant experience.
- At least 5 years of relevant and practical experience.
- Expertise in multiple programming languages or software tools.
- Expertise in multiple front-end and back-end frameworks.
- Expertise in data engineering.
- Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code, version control, DevOps, and CI/CD design patterns.
- Proficiency in monitoring and alerting.
- Technical writing, diagramming, and technical, business, or data analysis skills.
- Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, decision-making, mentorship, change management, and strategic vision skills.
