Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain internal developer platform APIs, CLIs, web surfaces, and self-service golden paths.
- Evolve build and deployment platforms using Kubernetes and GitOps tooling across environments and regions.
- Contribute to AI-native software development capabilities including coding agents, orchestration, automated code review, and vulnerability patching.
- Define engineering standards and architectural patterns, and author and review company-wide RFCs.
- Serve as a technical referent by mentoring engineers, leading architecture reviews, and coordinating with Security, Infrastructure, and product engineering teams.
- Identify automation opportunities, track platform and applied-AI trends, and pilot improvements for scale and compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience building backend, platform, or DevOps systems.
- Strong programming proficiency in at least one of TypeScript/Node.js, Go, or Python, with willingness to work across all three.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, modern CI/CD pipelines, and a major cloud provider, preferably AWS.
- Experience building internal tooling, reusable SDKs or libraries, or platform components used by engineering teams.
- Demonstrable daily use of AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Copilot, or Cursor, plus interest in LLMs and agents.
- Advanced English proficiency and ability to communicate complex ideas to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
