Base Salary
$224k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build portfolio scheduling software that connects activities, materials, critical paths, and procurement timelines.
- Convert site work packages, contractor entries, rack placements, cable runs, and QA inspections into structured records tied to design revisions.
- Develop change-order workflows covering scope, cost, schedule impact, approvals, bills of materials, and schedule updates.
- Ingest building information models into bills of materials and maintain canonical records for sites, buildings, and data halls.
- Build software-driven commissioning workflows with asset-specific test procedures, evidence capture, energization gates, and handover.
- Work directly with construction, field engineering, scheduling, and commissioning teams to drive adoption under real project deadlines.
Requirements
- Production software development experience in Go, Python, or TypeScript, with the ability to learn other languages as needed.
- Experience building real features with LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or open-weight models, as well as MCP servers and agentic frameworks.
- Daily experience using AI coding tools such as Claude Code and Cursor and enabling agents to work autonomously.
- Ability to independently identify problems, design solutions, and ship production results under tight deadlines.
- Experience building durable foundations that other engineers can extend.
- Credibility with construction leads, field engineers, schedulers, commissioning agents, or other people building physical infrastructure, plus experience driving software adoption.
- Strong product taste and experience building intuitive interfaces and workflows aligned with field operations.
- Preferred experience with construction technology, project controls, P6, schedule engines, critical path analysis, BIM, IFC, Revit, commissioning, BMS/EPMS, controls protocols, document control, submittal workflows, graph data models, or computer vision for site imagery.
