Responsibilities
- Own one or more automation projects from prototype through working tool with support from a technical mentor.
- Design and build agents by selecting sources, tools, and prompting strategies.
- Evaluate agent performance against team-prepared evaluation sets, track accuracy, and iterate on improvements.
- Produce clear, reviewable outputs for proposed changes.
- Document the work so the team can continue running and extending it after the internship.
Requirements
- Write clean, well-structured Python or a similar programming language and work comfortably with APIs and data.
- Have hands-on experience building with LLMs, agents, and tool use through frameworks, the Model Context Protocol, or custom orchestration code.
- Use LLMs and AI coding tools regularly and understand their strengths and failure modes.
- Demonstrate attention to data quality, validation, and edge cases.
- Communicate clearly in English about what was built, why it was built, and how well it works.
- Preferred: experience with knowledge graphs, entity resolution, record linkage, web research automation, scraping, or retrieval-augmented generation.
- Preferred: interest in financial markets or company data.
