Base Salary
$58k - $105k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop software and techniques to protect data and networks on tactical systems.
- Develop capabilities for detecting, identifying, and potentially responding to attacks.
- Collaborate with internal experts to develop technical solutions and analyze their impact on the end product or solution.
- Research and develop signature- and behavior-based defensive techniques against adversarial attacks on tactical networks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, cyber engineering, or a similar field.
- Professional or nonprofessional development experience in C, C++, Rust, Go, or a similar compiled language.
- Professional or nonprofessional experience with Python or another scripting language.
- Basic understanding of networking protocols across all layers of the networking stack and network architecture.
- Familiarity with Linux, including basic navigation and editing.
- US citizenship is required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.
- Ability to travel to customer sites up to 20% of the time.
- Preferred: familiarity with Wireshark and basic cybersecurity concepts.
- Preferred: familiarity with iterative software design processes and associated tooling such as Jira and Jenkins.
- Preferred: certifications such as Network+, Security+, CySA+, or Linux.
