Responsibilities
- Gather and document business requirements and future-state supply chain processes using industry best practices.
- Collect, transform, integrate, and analyze sales, shipment, inventory, logistics, and other operational data.
- Convert business logic into technical platform designs, data requirements, complex datasets, and o9 platform configurations.
- Apply forecasting, statistical, optimization, mathematical modeling, simulation, and data visualization techniques to generate business insights and operational plans.
- Lead or support supply chain planning solution implementation through requirements gathering, solution design, development, UAT/SIT, go-live, and value realization.
- Create and execute workflow and data analytics test cases, design testing protocols, document issues, and work toward automated testing.
- Collaborate with internal R&D teams to resolve solution gaps and deploy fixes in customer environments.
- Work with cross-functional, IT, business, executive, and junior stakeholders to execute projects successfully.
- Deliver super-user and end-user training to a global user base.
- Mentor junior analysts on the technical and business aspects of projects.
Requirements
- Experience implementing supply chain planning solutions or working in a supply chain or logistics organization.
- Experience with planning systems, ERP tools, and one or more supply planning products.
- Experience leading a team through the full lifecycle of a supply chain planning solution implementation.
- Experience using agile methodology to deliver large-scale enterprise implementations.
- Master's degree with at least four years of experience or bachelor's degree with at least six years of experience in operations research, industrial engineering, engineering management, business analytics, computer science, supply chain engineering, or a related field with an operations or analytics concentration.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets, document processing, and presentation software.
- Knowledge of databases such as SQL Server and MySQL and proficiency in SQL, MDX, T-SQL, or similar languages.
- Strong mathematical, statistical, analytical, data mining, and large-scale data processing skills.
- Strong verbal, written, presentation, demonstration, and training skills.
- Ability to communicate mathematical, technical, and software concepts to audiences with limited technical backgrounds.
- Ability to collaborate across locations, time zones, and corporate hierarchy levels.
