Responsibilities
- Gather business and technical requirements with consulting and stakeholder teams.
- Design and develop secure, maintainable, high-performance web applications.
- Translate business needs into technical specifications and actionable solution approaches.
- Implement unit and integration tests to maintain software quality.
- Provide hands-on support across the software development lifecycle from design through deployment.
- Assess technical challenges and recommend solutions aligned with project goals.
- Contribute to delivery planning, internal knowledge assets, and intellectual property.
- Collaborate with consultants, engineers, designers, data scientists, and product experts on digital solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or an equivalent technical field.
- At least 1 year of end-to-end web application development experience in a commercial or consulting environment.
- Experience with backend technologies including Python, Flask, Django, FastAPI, Node.js, NestJS, Express, Java, Spring Boot, or .NET.
- Experience with frontend technologies including React, Vue.js, or Angular 2+.
- Proficiency with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and databases such as Postgres, MariaDB, or MySQL.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming, clean code, design patterns, RESTful API design, responsive UI development, and UI libraries.
- Experience with unit testing frameworks such as Mocha, Jest, or Jasmine, and with Git-based collaborative version control.
- Additional value is placed on open-source contributions, blogs, forums, community involvement, Linux, shell scripting, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, cloud platforms, mobile development, data visualization, and French language skills.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, adaptability, and technical explanation skills.
