Responsibilities
- Interview non-technical stakeholders and identify repetitive workflows suitable for automation.
- Translate loosely defined workflow problems into scoped technical solutions with team guidance.
- Build, prototype, ship, and iterate on AI-powered automations and internal tools.
- Connect LLMs, agents, prompt patterns, APIs, and existing systems to deliver workflow outcomes.
- Document automations, contribute to error handling and basic monitoring, and maintain reusable templates and integration examples.
- Support training sessions and collaborate with engineers, operations teams, and other stakeholders.
- Deliver two to three production automations with documented business impact during the term.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related program, or possess equivalent practical experience.
- Some experience building with Python, JavaScript, C#, or a similar programming language.
- Curiosity about AI automation, including experimentation with LLMs, prompt design, or no-code tools.
- Ability to learn new tools quickly, work through ambiguity, and prioritize shipping iterative solutions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Familiarity with APIs, scripting, or automation tools such as Zapier, Make, or n8n is preferred.
- Experience pulling, cleaning, or interpreting data is preferred.
