Responsibilities
- Analyze business, functional, and technical requirements and convert them into clear, testable scenarios and acceptance criteria.
- Design and execute functional, integration, regression, system, API, database, and end-to-end tests.
- Create and maintain test cases, test plans, test reports, and adequate test coverage.
- Identify requirement gaps, dependencies, risks, process gaps, and edge cases throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Log, track, validate, and support resolution of defects, including root-cause analysis.
- Perform SQL/database validation, data-flow verification, API testing, and application-log analysis.
- Troubleshoot application, systems integration, and compatibility issues across integrated systems.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, QA, application development, and DevOps teams.
- Participate in refinement, sprint planning, requirement walkthroughs, and release validation.
- Contribute to QA process improvements, test automation, and overall application quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, or a related field with 7+ years of hands-on software quality assurance and testing experience.
- Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, or a related field with 5+ years of hands-on software quality assurance and testing experience.
- Strong expertise in functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
- Solid technical business analysis, requirements analysis, and SQL/database validation skills.
- Experience with Tricentis Tosca or other test automation tools such as Cypress, Playwright, and Selenium.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC, test planning, test execution reporting, defect management, and root-cause analysis.
- Good understanding of REST APIs, API testing, application architecture, and technical workflows.
- Experience with API automation and test automation frameworks.
- Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices.
- Experience with JIRA and Azure DevOps.
