Responsibilities
- Design and build Python microservices, APIs, and packages for SaaS, PaaS, and Analytics as a Service products.
- Write clean, reusable, documented code with unit tests.
- Build secure, scalable, reliable, testable, and maintainable backend systems.
- Collaborate with engineering, delivery, QA, product, and design teams.
- Perform integrations with enterprise applications.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and promote usability and code reusability.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of relevant software development experience, including 4+ years with Python 3.x.
- Experience with Django, Flask, Celery, FastAPI or another standard industry API, and relational databases using SQL or ORM.
- Experience with microservices-based and modern cloud-based architectures.
- Ability to translate complex requirements into working features with minimal oversight.
- Experience with Azure development and deployment practices; knowledge of other cloud platforms is acceptable.
- Familiarity with Azure Data Factory and Databricks is highly valued.
- Front-end experience with React or Angular is a plus.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, collaboration, independence, and task-completion skills.
