Responsibilities
- Assist with writing clean, maintainable front-end or back-end code.
- Help build and test software features under the guidance of senior developers and QA engineers.
- Apply basic UI/UX, usability, and accessibility principles for front-end work.
- Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
- Collaborate with developers, designers, and platform engineers.
- Contribute to documentation and follow coding and testing standards.
- Explore software development and testing technologies and tools.
- Seek feedback and develop skills through mentorship and hands-on practice.
Requirements
- Active student status at a Hungarian university or college.
- Availability to work at least 20 hours per week during the semester.
- Ability to work regularly from the Budapest office with required in-person attendance.
- Good Hungarian and English communication skills.
- Basic programming knowledge, including Java.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for front-end or full-stack work.
- Interest in learning Angular, React, or Spring Boot.
- Basic knowledge of testing concepts or tools such as Cypress, Playwright, or JUnit.
- Understanding of version control tools such as Git.
- Final-year university students completing a mandatory internship are strongly preferred.
- Experience with personal or academic development or testing projects is preferred.
- Familiarity with Figma or basic UI/UX concepts is preferred for front-end work.
- Interest in cloud platforms, container tools, or emerging technologies such as AI is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of Agile/Scrum practices is preferred.
