Responsibilities
- Design, modify, develop, write, and implement software applications using agile development methods.
- Build and configure Salesforce features with Flows, Lightning Web Components, Apex, and standard Salesforce capabilities.
- Develop, deploy, maintain, and support software at scale, including Apex applications in the Lightning environment.
- Develop REST APIs and enhance existing applications through source-code updates and code samples.
- Acquire client requirements and resolve workflow problems through automation optimization.
- Collaborate with Slovakia-based engineering leadership and Caterpillar teams in the United States.
Requirements
- Knowledge of software development tools, activities, and software product implementation.
- Knowledge of the software development life cycle and structured methodologies for delivering software products.
- Knowledge of the technical aspects of software products, including design, configuration, and integration.
- Experience or education in a related field.
- Experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud, OmniStudio, REST API development, Apex, SOQL, and GitHub.
- Cybersecurity and secure-coding knowledge.
- Strong analytical, design, and programming skills and attention to detail.
- Salesforce Admin or Salesforce Platform Developer 1 certification is preferred.
- Salesforce Sales Cloud or Service Cloud consultant certification is preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively and contribute in a team-oriented environment.
