Responsibilities
- Ensure the reliability, scalability, availability, and operational efficiency of infrastructure supporting banking products and operations.
- Influence technical and architectural decisions and translate business challenges into sustainable technical solutions.
- Operate and troubleshoot high-availability environments and distributed workloads.
- Participate in support rotations and lead responses to high-severity incidents.
- Drive observability, automation, platform engineering, infrastructure as code, and continuous improvement across teams.
- Apply SRE practices including SLOs, SLIs, error budgets, toil reduction, capacity planning, and incident management.
Requirements
- Solid experience in Software Engineering, SRE, DevOps, or related areas.
- Advanced production experience with Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of service mesh, autoscaling, network policies, and troubleshooting distributed workloads.
- Expertise with observability tools and metrics, logs, and distributed traces.
- Experience with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, AppDynamics, Splunk, or equivalent solutions.
- Proficiency in Terraform and infrastructure as code.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitOps using tools such as ArgoCD and GitHub Actions.
- Knowledge of distributed-systems architecture, microservices, and resilience patterns.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Go, Python, Java, or an equivalent.
- Preferred qualifications include practical experience with LLMs, AI agents, AIOps, MLOps, FinOps, cloud cost optimization, open-source contributions, technical speaking, and certifications such as CKA, CKAD, AWS Solutions Architect, AWS DevOps Engineer, or Terraform Associate.
