Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deliver innovative software solutions for banking applications and digital experiences.
- Serve as a technical leader and mentor while guiding software development activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute the product roadmap.
- Lead modernization of a 1,000+ TPS, 24/7 platform from monolithic architecture to microservices.
- Apply system design, domain-driven design, scalability, high availability, performance, and disaster recovery architecture patterns.
- Communicate ideas, concepts, development progress, and technical information to stakeholders and team members.
- Work with large collaborative teams and promote an innovative engineering culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, BS/BA degree, or equivalent experience; a master’s degree in computer science is also relevant.
- At least 5 years of full-stack Java development experience in team-based Agile/Scrum environments and large implementations.
- Hands-on experience with core Java, Spring, and REST services.
- Strong knowledge of system design, domain-driven design, microservices, and application, data, and infrastructure architecture.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, service mesh, SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with Jenkins, Bitbucket, Git, JIRA, CI/CD tools, version control, and TDD/BDD practices.
- Advanced architecture and design knowledge across systems, proficiency in multiple modern programming languages, and knowledge of technology trends and best practices.
- Strong communication, collaboration, presentation, mentoring, and technical leadership abilities.
