Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain full-stack product features across front-end interfaces and back-end systems.
- Contribute to and maintain the product design system for consistency and reuse.
- Build and maintain reliable, performant, and maintainable APIs.
- Resolve complex bugs and performance issues across foundational systems.
- Participate in code reviews and collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers.
- Support modernization of core platform infrastructure and help teammates grow technically.
- Drive adoption of AI-driven development practices and productivity tooling.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in full-stack or combined front-end and back-end software development.
- Strong proficiency in React, modern JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Experience building and maintaining APIs and design systems.
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and front-end performance best practices.
- Ability to contribute across large, established codebases and experience with object-oriented methodologies and design patterns.
- Preferred experience includes Backbone.js, Dropwizard or Spring Boot, Java, SQL and NoSQL databases, Microsoft Azure or AWS, and Playwright, Storybook, or Selenium.
- Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline and/or equivalent experience.
