Base Salary
$140k - $170k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and modify application source code, bug fixes, enhancements, and GUI improvements.
- Develop and deploy applications across Sponsor networks, cloud environments, and other Sponsor environments.
- Design and develop REST APIs and integrate externally developed code into core software libraries.
- Maintain software library architecture, module APIs, code organization, coding standards, modularity, reusable code, and subsystem interfaces.
- Install and configure application software and evaluate third-party vendors and software partners.
- Develop and support software involving audio/video, image-processing algorithms, operating systems, file systems, and device drivers.
- Support quality, release-readiness, and software-acceptance standards and procedures.
- Conduct lifecycle and regression testing and follow established testing procedures.
- Track software issues using tools such as JIRA and report software availability and reliability metrics.
- Support Agile development practices and coordinate with configuration management personnel.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI clearance with an FS polygraph.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or another related scientific or technical discipline.
- At least 2 years of software engineering experience within the last 5 years.
- Demonstrated experience with at least three of .NET, Visual Basic, Java, JavaScript, Tomcat, SQL, XML, Python, HTML, LDAP certificates, Apache, and Ruby.
- Experience supporting full-lifecycle Agile software development projects.
- Experience with software issue-tracking tools such as JIRA.
- Preferred experience developing Android applications and designing, developing, and maintaining applications in AWS or Sponsor cloud environments.
- Preferred working knowledge of GIS software, including Google Maps and Google Earth.
- Preferred experience with continuous software development, software integration, INFOSEC and IA policies including ICD 503, and the complete DevOps lifecycle.
