Responsibilities
- Coordinate with internal teams and collaborate effectively as part of the software development team.
- Assess feature requests and develop appropriate technical solutions.
- Write effective, scalable, and testable code.
- Integrate user-facing elements into applications.
- Improve the functionality of existing systems.
- Test and debug programs and identify and fix production bugs.
Requirements
- Have a recent degree in computer science or an equivalent subject.
- Be familiar with at least one popular Java framework, such as Spring or Netty.
- Be familiar with object-relational mapping tools, such as Hibernate.
- Be familiar with front-end technologies and frameworks such as Angular, React, Vue, or Next.js.
- Be familiar with relational databases and database design, such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB, Cassandra, or Mongo is beneficial.
- Demonstrate good problem-solving and technical and non-technical communication skills.
- Show a passion for simplifying processes.
- Have full, long-term right to work in the UK, as visa sponsorship is not available.
