Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain MLOps pipelines and platforms for model training, deployment, monitoring, and retraining using AWS.
- Deploy and support machine learning models for upstream Oil & Gas use cases such as production optimization, subsurface modeling, and drilling analytics.
- Implement model versioning, experiment tracking, performance monitoring, and CI/CD workflows.
- Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, and domain experts to move models from development into production.
- Ensure reliability, observability, governance, and compliance of machine learning systems.
- Troubleshoot production issues involving data, models, and infrastructure.
Requirements
- Require 5+ years of experience in data engineering, software engineering, MLOps, or AI Ops.
- Require a good grasp of software architecture principles and systems design.
- Require strong proficiency in Python for production-grade machine learning workflows.
- Require hands-on experience with AWS, including services such as S3, EC2, EKS/ECS, SageMaker, Lambda, and CloudWatch.
- Require experience deploying and supporting machine learning models in production environments.
- Require familiarity with CI/CD tools, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Require understanding of machine learning lifecycle management, model monitoring, and data drift.
- Prefer experience supporting analytics or machine learning solutions in upstream Oil & Gas or energy.
- Prefer knowledge of time-series, forecasting, or physics-informed machine learning workloads.
- Prefer experience with infrastructure-as-code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
