Responsibilities
- Embed with client engineering and business teams to deploy, scale, and operationalize enterprise AI platforms.
- Own production outcomes including time-to-value, reliability, adoption velocity, scalability, and measurable business impact.
- Translate ambiguous business problems into working production systems through rapid experimentation and deployment.
- Design and govern AI architectures spanning identity, data, security, governance, platform layers, and workflow integration.
- Translate technical architecture into business impact for CTO, CFO, and CISO stakeholders and shape AI roadmaps, ROI backlogs, and adoption strategies.
- Build reusable patterns, playbooks, and accelerators that client teams can operate independently.
- Lead design workshops, proofs of concept, architecture walkthroughs, and code-with sessions.
- Codify deployment patterns and learnings to scale the Forward Deployed Engineering practice.
Requirements
- Engineering experience with cloud-native systems, APIs, microservices, containerization, and serverless technologies.
- Experience designing and deploying agentic solutions involving agents, orchestration, context engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, and workflows in production.
- Strong experience with OpenAI, Claude, Vertex AI, open-source models, and multi-provider AI abstraction layers.
- Very strong experience with production deployment, infrastructure as code using Terraform and Helm, monitoring, and debugging.
- Demonstrated end-to-end delivery ownership in a client-embedded environment; internal-only projects and vendor labs do not qualify.
- Ability to quantify deployment impact in terms meaningful to CFO-level stakeholders.
- Experience presenting to and building trust with senior client stakeholders, including CTO, CFO, and CISO audiences.
- Non-linear profiles are welcomed, with assessment based on demonstrated deployment experience and outcome ownership.
