Responsibilities
- Qualify customer opportunities, requirements, and solution fit for NetApp offerings on Google Cloud.
- Design cloud, software, and professional-services solutions and lead technical workshops.
- Present solutions at customer, partner, Google Cloud, NetApp, and industry events.
- Design and run proofs of concept in customer environments.
- Hand new customer wins over to Customer Success and Professional Services.
- Publish reference architectures, wins, and best practices internally and externally.
- Maintain customer opportunity status in Salesforce.
- Stay current on public cloud services, technical expertise, and sales and technical processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred with 8+ years of related field experience.
- Strong knowledge of cloud concepts and technologies, particularly Google Cloud; Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certification is preferred.
- Experience working with customers in the as-a-Service space and running pre-sales proofs of concept for software, hardware, or cloud-based solutions.
- Experience with NAS and SAN concepts and cloud workloads including SAP, HPC, virtual desktops, VMware, and self-managed databases.
- Familiarity with container orchestration runtimes, preferably Kubernetes, is a plus.
- On-premises infrastructure, workload, and data migration experience is a plus.
- Demonstrated understanding of AI concepts and practical use of AI-enabled tools and capabilities.
- Strong communication, prioritization, initiative, adaptability, English-language, and customer-engagement skills; French is a plus.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned geography and occasionally farther.
