Responsibilities
- Build and maintain software security features and develop new security components using AI tools.
- Perform security assessments and code reviews for internal and external customer-facing applications.
- Work with engineers to remediate security vulnerabilities using AI tools.
- Develop security automation and tooling to improve application security.
- Support the bug bounty and vulnerability-handling programs by investigating reports, determining remediations, and advising engineering teams.
- Support and develop software across Apache Tomcat, JSP, Node/JavaScript, browser-facing applications, custom client software, and multi-server architectures.
- Apply knowledge of cryptography, secure authentication, cloud security, and large software stacks.
Requirements
- Application development and application security knowledge.
- AI knowledge and experience using AI for development and security, including AI frameworks, tooling, coding agents, and AI coding tools.
- Strong understanding of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities and common web security flaws.
- Experience with SAST/DAST scanners, fuzzing tools, and vulnerability scanners.
- Familiarity with HTTP, REST APIs, web applications, cloud systems, and Linux environments.
- Experience with Java, JSP, JavaScript, TypeScript, Go, Python, and C/C++ or comparable programming languages.
- Ability to learn and work across new and existing technologies and implementations.
