Base Salary
$123k - $289k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design abstractions for hardware control behavior in a distributed system.
- Create user-facing guardrails for the autonomy ecosystem.
- Develop ground and vehicle automation.
- Build software tests.
- Support hardware testing.
- Own and dogfood automation building blocks that command physical vehicle hardware.
Requirements
- Experience with Rust and Python.
- Strong systems-thinking ability for navigating complex distributed software-hardware interactions.
- Strong mathematical background.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in software development, controls, or systems engineering.
- Ability to prioritize, self-direct, and ask for help.
- Preferred: experience with control theory and laws.
- Preferred: software language or compiler background.
- Must satisfy applicable U.S. ITAR work-authorization or export-control requirements.
