Base Salary

$123k - $289k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design abstractions for hardware control behavior in a distributed system.
  • Create user-facing guardrails for the autonomy ecosystem.
  • Develop ground and vehicle automation.
  • Build software tests.
  • Support hardware testing.
  • Own and dogfood automation building blocks that command physical vehicle hardware.

Requirements

  • Experience with Rust and Python.
  • Strong systems-thinking ability for navigating complex distributed software-hardware interactions.
  • Strong mathematical background.
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in software development, controls, or systems engineering.
  • Ability to prioritize, self-direct, and ask for help.
  • Preferred: experience with control theory and laws.
  • Preferred: software language or compiler background.
  • Must satisfy applicable U.S. ITAR work-authorization or export-control requirements.
